Fishing Reports and Forecasts for Lake Norman 10-25-11

This report submitted on:

The fishing continues to be good as the water temps fall into the upper 60s F. The spotted bass & perch are travelling creek channels in big schools gorging on small forage hatched this summer. Catch 'em on jigs, crankbaits, & shaky heads or live minnows. Off shore humps in the main channel or creek mouths are productive using these baits too. Plenty of bass shallow on crankbaits, topwaters and soft plastics. Heading to Charleston tomorrow looking for spottails & trout, probably try the sheepshead on the jetties too. Report to follow, Fish On!
